A little backstory: Due to overuse of my dremel, coupled with a marathon hand-sewing session, I developed a bit of a repetitive stress injury in my thumbs and wrists. ok so 1 week has slightly turned in to three... what was supposed to be a quick and dirty go has turned into more procrastination and anal retantion :/
anyway, we have managed to make more progress - done the handpaws and the foamwork for the head

Is it possible that i can hot glue a zipper onto fabric instead of sewing it?

because i have NO IDEA on how to sew a zipper on. i only know how to hand sew =/ and i was wondering if hot glueing it will have the same affect as sewing it.

i was gonna attach a zipper to some type of regular women's halter top ( except its made out of faux fur)

Does anyone here own a glue gun that's lasted them more than five months? Because I'm approaching the time to replace mine (AGAIN) and I'd like to buy something good. Recommendations from experience are greatly appreciated, as I'm getting pretty tired of constantly wasting money on these things.

Dremel question
