Hello fellow fursuiters! I recently finished my first 3/4 suit. This is also the first suit that I have added digigraide padding in, and I would like to know what you think. I'm about to start sculpting teeth (and a nose) for my fursuit head... However, I have two types of clay, and I'm not sure which one would be best.
I have Crayola Air-Dry clay, and Super Sculpey Original. Does anyone have experience which any of these clays?

Made this nose out of sculpy and something seems off. I'm gonna spray it with filler primer and then spray it sky blueish.

I need help with sizing some cabochons from an Aussie shop (I need them pretty quickly) and I'm using them for two Phazon blanks, one is the horse skull and the other is the normal horse blank. I've found a shop which sells 30mm, 40mm, 50mm sized cabochons but I have no idea which ones would work best for those blanks. I'm planning to affix ( Read more... )

I stayed up till 2 am finishing the head. I am very pleased with how it turned out and so excited
still needs some touch up fur trimming and of course, it's not perfect. has a random gouge in the fur under left eye and the gluing of eyebrows looks kinda odd on left brow. some nicks in paint of the nose. the the right eyes has some issues. also, ( Read more... )

I see lots of tutorials on here about casting latex pawpads, but none about making silicone ones.  I know next to nothing about working with either materials or how they react with other substances, but I assume silicone behaves and cures differently than latex.  Right now I'm trying to decide which one will suit my needs, and I'm leaning toward ( Read more... )

I have a sculpy nose for my mesh-and-foam fursuit head. I'm going to hotglue a bent pin to the back and use that to sew it to my muzzle to help secure it until the E7000 dries...but would you attach it before or after furring?  I could see advantages of both ways so I'm kind of torn.

Any advice?
