Figuring since I've made heads, I can probably manage tails! Question- when making patterns for tails, to what extent do you take in to account the length of the fur pile you want to use? If you want to make the tail X wide, do you subtract some of the length of the pile from your pattern so that the tail doesn't get overly poofy? Or am I just ( Read more... )

I looked back in memories to see if there were and patterns but i could only find one, though it was personally unappealing for me. I know you can make them by making a model foot paw then patterning over it, though since im only making one pair of paws i was wonding if anyone knows of a free pattern i can use or if anyones willing to share theirs?

Hey there, folks. I'm still pretty new to making my own patterns, only having made a couple plushies, a cow tail, and shark tail from on-the-fly patterns I created. Though there's one I really am having trouble wrapping my head around: A leopard gecko tail.
