Stuck

Hi! So I've made about 20 fursuit heads. I'm working on one and I realize I have not improved much since the first few I made, and I'm not happy with how they look. I have a couple questions and struggles.

When ever I put the eyes in I end up getting hot glue all over the face, and there are gross fur clumps that look horrible on camera. I normally do follow me eyes. Is there an art to doing this?

How do I make the pattern even and fit correctly? The fur for the face never fits quite right and the markings never come out symmetrical. I tape the foam, but when I try taking the tape off it sometimes warps and I'm left confused. I use scissors to cut it instead of an exacto knife, but when I use a blade it cuts into the foam. I really wish there was another way to make patterns for heads.

How do I do I make seams that don't show or pop. This happens for anything I sew. I hand sew the head fur with a blanket stitch. They're maybe half a centimeter apart and I use the sewing machine on handpaws and tails. The seams are still really obvious. I bought some handpaws from a maker and I can't see the seam at all. I'm not sure how they accomplished that. It looks like they used a zigzag stitch with a straight stitch.

How do I get good air flow? My heads are very stuffy.

How do I get a good shave job. Mine always look horrible and choppy. I'm not sure if it's because I don't take proper care of the clippers or I'm not using it right. I bought shot pile fur just to avoid having to shave, but I know I might if I take up a future project. I have an andis 317G. I bought an Oster but I'm scared to use it, because I might damage it.

Here is the one I'm working on.
