Is it possible that i can hot glue a zipper onto fabric instead of sewing it?

because i have NO IDEA on how to sew a zipper on. i only know how to hand sew =/ and i was wondering if hot glueing it will have the same affect as sewing it.

i was gonna attach a zipper to some type of regular women's halter top ( except its made out of faux fur)

stitches, felt, furs, adhesive, clothing, scissors, zipper, trimming fur, fleece, critiques, lycra body suits, furring, hot glue, tools

That's really not a good idea. It's possible, but the chances it'll pull apart is pretty good. It would be best to learn how to sew it on.

Oh no. You can hand sew a zipper.
I'm sure there are many tutorials for sewing zippers out there. It isn't hard!

hand sewing should work :)
backstitching is the best way to go,
it may be longer but the results will be worth it
