Relay was... Relay. Every year it's meaningful, and every year we're surprised by how much we raise and the amount of dedication shown. I was up until 12 walking, 1:30 talking to Dan and Lynda, up again at 5 for the sunrise ceremony and runners' laps. dad bought a new car today.
it's a zoom-zoom car. a "practical sports car." It's hard to wrap my mind around, but there you have it. We're getting the thing on Wednesday or so. Dad just sliced his finger to the bone. Mom's taking him to the hospital. I didn't realize how serious it was because he was standing there acting like nothing was wrong, just in one of his bitchy moods. He said it didn't hurt yet.
