Write up for the Gothic Festival - it wasn't very Gothic.  It was, however, a LOT of fun!  Sadly we didn't get there until the last couple of tracks of Reaper on the Friday, missing Pressure Control who I really would have loved to catch :-(

Went to see Wanted (James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie) last night and I thought it was brilliant, really good action movie and quite amusing.  It had the added bonus of the new Orange phone advert with Rob Lowe, I think it's a classic, possibly the best one ever.

Just back from Alex and Marianne's 10th Anniversary party - what a great night!  Great tunes, lots of dancing (Rosetta Stone, Childen on Stun, The Horatii......), lots of old faces and a good long chat with an old pal from many moons ago.  Brilliant.  The most I've danced sober in donkey's ages!  So, at least if I couldn't be in London for ( Read more... )

were excellent.  David Coverdale has an amazing voice and is quite funny, not at all a fwah but well kept for an old fella and seems to genuinely like his audience a lot.  Def Leppard really weren't for me, which is weird cos I like them on CD but I didn't like watching them at all, bloody SECC didn't help, horrible atmosphere ( Read more... )
