In coming home Saturday morning, my beach season has most likely come to a close. I don't know when I became such a beach person; for about eight years it was such an enormous chore to go for just a couple days and I spent most of the time up at the storefront or in the air conditioned hotel, and now I've been to three separate beaches, voluntarily ( Read more... ) -

This last weekend was sort of an impromptu trip down to New York. Since lite_bright is off to law school quite shortly, we were trying to figure out when to meet up before she leaves. And even though it is all the way in Ohio, rather than close by and in a nice location, I can grudgingly understand that not everyone must plan their life around my entertainment, and must instead go on being their AWESOME AND SUPER SMART law school-going selves. It has been a fairly busy week! On Saturday we had a combination party for my graduation and my dad's ordination. Which was good, one of my cousins came unexpectedly who I haven't seen in... probably at least three years? Drove Anne to the airport today, and made the massive mistake while leaving to be a bit proud of driving into Boston. Even if it is not actually city driving because you never get off the highway, we hadn't got lost! Which of course meant that the toll leaving the airport was two dollars more than coming in, so I didn't have enough to take the Pike ( Read more... ) -

Oh goodness, life. This past weekend I squished into a car with some of the family to head up and visit my parents, which was a lovely time. We didn't do all that much, just see the few sights around town and headed over to New Brunswick for an afternoon to see a nearby waterfall.
