The job front is looking good for the summer. One of our part timers who is regularly late got suspended last week and found a new job so he quit, which means Roche's is going to have hours for me. Today I got to drive up to Assumption to visit a friend who just finished her student teaching and is graduating in a week and a half. I haven't been there since the fall. I need some books to read during substituting for the rest of the school year but I read the two books that I'd been looking forward to over break so I would really, really appreciate anyone and everyone leaving me some books to read... a title, an author, a synopsis ( Read more... ) -

Finally back to work, hopefully another short shift tomorrow and I'm getting my vacation pay this week.
In the meantime I'm apparently going to end the year falling down the stairs and bruising the hell out of my tailbone.

I'm stuck somewhere between being so, so, so glad that we don't get the channel it's going to be on at my house and intrigued because the casting doesn't completely suck.
Gah, they're going to fuck this up.

I sent my condolences to my next door neighbor last night. Her younger sister was graduating so she had to sit through the really long ceremony. Apparently 350 kids graduating is kind of a lot. Birthday was fairly good this year. On Friday I got to see B-roy, along with Lauren and baby Sierra. I can't believe how big she's gotten. All these kids people I know are having are making me feel ancient.
