Sue's "home" from the hospital, but installed in the convent infirmary for an indefinite period of time to rest up.  Her lupus has been triggered by all the to do, so there's another med added to the pile.  But she sounds much better and stronger than a few days ago, and she's finally been able to get at least one night's sleep.  They took away her ( Read more... )

Sue's in the hospital again.  Symptoms very stroke-like, but ct scan says no.... Confused, weak, couldn't walk, type or speak properly.  Anyway, she went in around noon yesterday, and since they wouldn't let her bring her own meds her schedule is way off with the go to sleep pills and the wake up pills, and she (maybe) has a full day today with an ( Read more... )

Katy got up late, but with a scheme for us to all take a family Sunday drive to Jim's hometown, Mt. It's becoming increasingly difficult to cook around here.  There is my problem with onions and garlic, but now Jim needs to drastically cut back on salt, which has been my main seasoning!  Add in Katy's peculiar culinary tastes and you may begin to understand the dilemma.
