So the Navy guy didn't sound particularly hopeful (my GPA (just under 3.0) sounded like a deal-breaker) but said he would pass on my info to the right guy, but I did talk to another group that sounded both interesting and interested. An info-session to go to tonight and an interview tomorrow.

DADT, DOMA and Perry v. Schwarzenegger
So Perry V. Scharzenegger should be coming to it's (first) conclusion sometime this month or next. I think it was that closing arguments were going to be heard mid-February, but I'm not sure a ruling was going to be given out right away or if Judge Walker was going to think on it some more. March on Washington
So this past weekend was the "march on Washington" thing. Wish I coulda gone, but there was no way I could have gotten to DC and back this weekend. Just don't have the budget for that.
But anyway. This article talks a bit about some of the stuff, and also has pictures of some of the signs people were carrying. Thought it was interesting. -
