Landed to a chilly and CLEAR San Francisco wher rootbeer1 ka Steve met me at baggage claim as he was just off his shift working the check in desk. Today was my longest driving day of the trip from home to my friend Mark's home in Huntsville,AL - 672 miles, and it took me just over 11 hours due to the rain that hit just outside of Memphis.

I wound up going up to Parker County to the home of my friends Ken and Ted. They own a small spread of 12 acres, a couple of horses and lot of peace and quiet - so different from my suburban existence. More accurately, getting into the habit of posting more on LJ again. My schedule with work and exercise during the week makes it more difficult what with also having a commute that is 30 miles one way.
