The photo of Steve and I was snapped by my buddy Jim Bernstein who I also got to meet on this trip. It was a fantastic time!

I'm delighted you got to meet so many people and enjoy the sights! WHo was at the dinner?

Isn't it just the BEST city!

I love it so much there, and can't wait to go back!

It is pretty danged wonderful, but I think for the sheer type of wilderness close by I still prefer Seattle. Still, SF has much better transit. Most places in the city are accessible via bus, trolley or train. Either place would be a HUGE step up from living in Texas...

So I'm gathering that once the studies are completed, and you gain your qualifications, then a new job with a move to one of those places will be on the cards? :-)

You bet your sweet bippy! I hope to be living somewhere along the West Coast once things are said and done, though I may have to work here locally in the field a bit prior to making that jump...

OMG! Marin County has a spectacular complex designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. I've always wanted to see it, but never got the chance - yet. In a prior job, I had to go to San Fancisco about once a month, but got to do almost no sightseeing. Drat.

I had no idea there either. Damn that is two places I have been and missed his work! Well, add it to the list of things to see next time...

i love Point Reyes. You are so right, there is so much beauty in such a short distance from San Francisco.

We only barely got into Point Reyes, hitting the visitor center and earthquake walk. Next time there I actually want to see the point...
