Not much to say. I've decided to give up on the halting almost-relationship with one of the other graduate students (too incestuous, and I'm pretty sure I'm only after her body anyway . . . sigh). After the fourth reinstall in as many months, I decided that I'd had enough. Would it be stable once everything is set up? Sure. It's like I was telling the post-doc I've taken to hanging around with: vacations don't agree with me. The first day or two are fine, but any longer leads to lethargy and malaise.
