All quiet on the eastern front.
Not much to say. I've decided to give up on the halting almost-relationship with one of the other graduate students (too incestuous, and I'm pretty sure I'm only after her body anyway . . . sigh). Joined the lab I came here to join. Kicked ass and took names on my coursework. Life's not perfect - I'm short a soulmate and a couple of Science papers, but I'm a damn sight happier than I ever was as an undergrad. There might be a tour of the west coast after I pass candidacy next spring. Or once I take over the world. Whichever comes first.
