I've been down with the flu and now a series of horrendous migraines these past two weeks. This has prevented me from doing basically anything but sleep and watch some tv while lying in bed. I have to really force myself to get up and walk downstairs to pee and get food/drink. I see the neurology department on the 9th, but I doubt they'll do ( Read more... )

I realize I haven't really posted decently in a while. There's a reason: one of the medications I was on was making me so tired that I just couldn't function and I ended up spending all of my time lying down/sleeping. So, as my tiny mobile post mentioned this past week, I had a nasty accident Friday before last. Basically, I was walking up the stairs back to my room when I got dizzy and half-fainted backwards, ending up flat on my back on the landing. 1) Mom wants to stay another day in the hospital if they give her the chance. This is amazing. AMAZING. I'm really happy about this. The A-fib she supposedly had in the ER turned out to be from another patient and the nurse was talking loudly about someone else. Whew.
