 Last night was uneventful, in a good way. Due to the drought, Harris County banned all sale and use of fireworks (except for several professional shows). This is absolutely unprecedented in Texas.  We had rain today! LOTS! Near the house, they are reporting about 2". That's AWESOME. Not so awesome for my body, since it's felt like I was run over by an 18-wheeler, then he backed up over me, and ran over me again.
