Just got a call from the clinic with my MRI results. There are TWO FRACTURES in my left foot/ankle - a fracture of the bone that creates the ankle bump on the outside of your foot and the bone that makes up your heel, plus bone marrow bruising of another ankle bone. Guess what idiotic, ridiculous thing I did last night.

I massively sprained both of my ankles. AGAIN. I did this exact same thing four years ago (see tag "ankle shenanigans 2008"). Another 97 on my exam! Missed 2 out of 60. After the mess on Friday, the prof emailed us and said that she'd extend the test until Monday (and the email made it very clear that she was doing us a favor by extending it, like she hadn't messed up in the first place). We're getting tons of rain right now. I LOVE it. However, my body doesn't feel the same way about the rain. Every joint is achy and I'm so completely fatigued it's ridiculous. I'm already maxed out on how much advil I can take in a day - Rx strength at 800mg every 8 hours - and I'm pretty sure my kidneys are mad about that. I really should switch ( Read more... )
