This week is the week between Christmas and New Year's, in case it wasn't obvious from the calendar. I thought that I might do something of a real update. Facebook seems to get most of my online presence attention, but I want to try to maintain LJ a little bit.

So I actually have a thing or two to update about. This last weekend we went to Chez Howard to celebrate Miss Jane's first birthday. It was all family and us, but we won't hold that against anyone. There isn't a whole lot going on these days. We should probably be more motivated to work on the house, but we're not. We do stuff in our own, slow pace. Work is typical. I did finally get to vote yesterday. I left work about 2:00. There was no line at the polling place. I would have made it through in record time had the girl looking for my name realized that "D-O" comes before "D-U" in the alphabet.
