This last weekend was pretty busy for us. ( Hockey game, ren fair, cider mill, and cats... )

Yesterday we went to a party to celebrate the "civil union" of Dustin and Maria. The food and drink were excellent, as expected from Dustin. They even had a keg of Oberon! We got to see a bunch of old friends as well. We took some pictures, but should have taken more.

Last night we went to the Def Leppard concert at "The Joe". halfgk and his wife, W, were also in attendance. ( One great concert... )

I'm am amazed to report that the weekend was pretty low key. ;) On Saturday I did go out with a couple of friends. By "go out" I mean we had cocktails and went to the ballet. By "ballet" I mean the gentleman's club. By "friends" I mean two people I took hostage. Wait, that last part is wrong. But let me start over.

Last weekend was kind of fun. On Saturday we saw our old friend (and my old roommate) Dustin. Yeah, DBag was in town! We gathered at Gifford's house with all the usual crew. Well, that usual crew. I rarely do a weekend post on the weekend, but I wanted to post a few pictures. Yesterday we went to meet Jane Howard for the first time. She's a little cutie, as babies often are. She comes from good stock, so not too surprising.

Friday evening I drove out to "FMJ's" house, an old co-worker and friend. He invited us along with a handful of other friends and (current) co-workers to watch the Red Wings and then MSU. Jaime wasn't feeling up to it, so I went on my own. Thankfully traffic was very light because it was the end of a common Spring Break week for non-college kids ( Read more... )

Saturday we went over a friend's house from high school. It is the same one we've been to a few times in the last year. It was the same insanity of people: 9 adults, 10 kids all under the age of 5.
