voting and old friends
I did finally get to vote yesterday. I left work about 2:00. There was no line at the polling place. I would have made it through in record time had the girl looking for my name realized that "D-O" comes before "D-U" in the alphabet.
Last night seanjweb was posting on Facebook about being anxious while waiting for the election results to come in. Having just reconnecting the Wii after several months of inactivity, I got the bright idea that I should send him a Mii that looked like McCain... you know, because he's a big Obama supporter. So I found a good McCain and Palin. I also found a decent Obama and send them all over. I'm such a jerk. :)
Today at lunch I got a very nice surprise in my email. I got a friend request through Facebook from an old high school buddy, Dario. He was an exchange student from Chile. I've often wondered what happened to him. Whenever I looked online I would usually only find a soccer player with the same name or a bunch of websites I couldn't read. Needless to say, I was excited to reconnect.
