After a busy and productive weekend I've now basically finished my outstanding projects, I've got a couple of small hankies to do but they won't take too long to do (probably about 1 evening).

So the question is boys and girls what to do next?

I am keen to do more embrodiery, something useful, but not garb.

A great fun week this week.  I had a lovely birthday with lots of lovely cards and pressies.  Hatfield house craft fair last Saturday was fun too, Nick & I spent a fortune - with some lovely tankards from these guys - Hidebound   and I also managed to buy an Inkle loom - so I can return with thanks the one I have from

very pleased with myself as I have just finished by first hand sewn piece of garb.  It is a wool tunic for my lovely man, with a inkle brand around the neck.

Well I've finally made it!  I am on the cover of the Bealfyr!  

Well I think I must have finally gone full SCA crazy...after being very pleased at finding over 3m of black heavy wool mix cloth on sale for 3 quid I cut it up today to make a new tunic for Nick and started sewing it today....but did I use my sewing machine....oh no I have decided to hand sew it!  I would like to bring it to the first stitch n' ( Read more... )

Well last night was the Feast of St Ethelburgas and I am pleased to report it was a complete success.  The church looked fabulous and was everything that that I wanted.  Duke Alaric (along with Lady Krieil and Drakey) produced some amazing food.
