So rather than posting an update of my life I think I will just state my shock at not have to take two midterms tomorrow because school has been canceled due to high wind damage. I love Kansas!

I am taking 17 credit hours which consists of Physiology of Organisms, Biol 419: Honors Seminar, Conversational French, 18th Century French Literature, Western Civilization II and Introduction to Psychology. I just came back from Kansas City where I spent several hours of my afternoon catching up with a girl I met my freshman year of college. I have always tried to keep religion out of my posts and out of my everyday conversations with people. I guess I feel that I have my religion and others have their religions and why should I impose my religion onto them? But this afternoon I find that the words from the Book of Common Prayer explain best the emotions I have.

The trees are beginning to show yellow on the tips of their leaves and there are just a few brown leaves rolling around on the ground but what is most exciting is this leaf that I found while walking back from genetics discussion.

It's officially fall and it is starting to feel like it too. Today when I walked up to the dining hall it was a cool, crisp morning and when I walked down to the gym it was a warm, pleasant afternoon. This and the changing color of leaves is why I love Fall.
