Wow I did not know it has been so long. I last posted back in Aug.
Life has just gotten away from me lately.

School is back in full swing. I love my students. Yes I know it is early in the year. But they are great.
I'm not sure how, but I even got a great homeroom.

I just have a few days until I go back to work. Yes I know it's late in the year for school to start. All the other schools in the area are back in session. But they are working on our building so we get an extra week.

As many of you know I am a knitter. No big deal. It's something I do for fun.
My poor hubby doesn't really get it though.
He took me to the countries largest yarn store.     I bought yarn.
I also bought yarn through the mail just before we left on that vacation.

I have 3 projects on the needles. Only one of which I am working on.

It's hard to know what to say when someone loses a loved one.
A dear friend just lost her mother.
So I fall back on tradition.

Jews send/ take food.

Now I know Christian who do that too.
Lasagna, pizza and Ham ( and ham). That seems to be the norm for Christians.

Jews... deli trays, fruit and cookies. So last night I made cookies.

Yesterday I went for my regular check up at the U of C. Normal stuff I do every year to make sure the C isn't back. I went early for some blood work.
Since I had some time to kill I went to see what Gilda's Club was about. They were meeting right there at the hosp. When I got there 5 women were sitting around a table talking.
