Wow I did not know it has been so long. I last posted back in Aug.
Life has just gotten away from me lately.
School is back in full swing. I love my students. Yes I know it is early in the year. But they are great.
I'm not sure how, but I even got a great homeroom.
One of my darlings in our "cooking class". (It's really a math class that uses cooking to teach math) Every Friday they cook something. Each week she brings me some of what she cooks. Her Mom tells me she has never seen her like this. She is always in trouble by this time in the school year. The girl says she " Doesn't want to disappoint 'me' ".
I have been knitting too. A baby blanket for a friend who is due in Feb. And, I am making an Orenburg lace scarf for me.
I am trying to decide if I will do the Komen Breast Cancer walk again. It looks like my walking partner isn't up to it this year. I'll decide in the next couple of days on that one. It's a lot of training and fund raising by myself. Hubby said he would help with the fund raising part. He always does and raises almost all of the money.
We went to a wedding yesterday. Outdoors and very cold. But a nice wedding anyway. Congrats Eric and Linda!
