WOW!
Just got back from the Muni and the performance of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" interspersed with Piazzolla's Spring, Autumn and Winter.
The director/conductor/principal violinist was Giovanni Guzzo - anextremely talented (and tasty) 26 yr old of world renown (but previously unknown to me).
It was unbelievably good.

'Twas off to the local theatre tonight to see a farce written in the 70's by Mike Harding (folk singer/comedian/playwright) called "Fur Hat and No Knickers".
Set in an unspecified Northern town in the 70's it concerns a working class family whose daughter is marrying the son of a "we've made it up the social ladder" family.

Well I wrote a really good post last night about my doings for the rest of last week, but LJ ated it. So suffice it to say that I had an excellent time in engaging company with much food, laughter, games and chilling out.

Birthday Presents and Falconry Days
So my delayed birthday present from last year took place yesterday when FK and I set off for the Forest Nature Centre just outside Roslingtton at stupid in the snow o'clock yesterday morning.
It was magic. We got to hold all sorts of hawks/falcons/owls on our wrists and to see and take part in flying demonstrations.
