Locally Nomadicor "Travels through Britain with a Dragon"

Mmm. Some interesting adventures on the horizon this year.
Apart from all my usual wanderings to the Midlands, Hampshire and Cumbria, it seems that I am likely to be traversing new ground.
This coming weekend I have a 3 day away trip with the Sweetie to the Durham area. Somewhere I have passed through before but as far as i can remember never stopped.
Then in Jume I am off with Seniorsis and the Hublet to a caravan in Newquay. (I have been to Cornwall many times in the past , but you can bet I will visit different places this time, simply because they have different interests from "Himself")
Potentially there will be a week at the Cumbrian Centerparcs in November. Same company, different venue, therefore different scenery.
And there are also trips planned to the Oxford area to actually go sightseeing and not just visiting friends - though that is also always good.

However, my diary seems to have empty spots in July, August, September and October so far. M'friend who is moving has suggested that - all other things being equal - we stay at her son's house in York for a few days in August when they are on holiday and go and spend more time around the Pickering area and the Moors over there. (We went to Whitby, Scarborough, York and such like spots a couple of years ago and did a few things in each place, but we could probably have spent 2 days in each town and still not seen everything that was there).

Seems like a good plan - always assuming that the Parks Events, New Social Enterprise, U3A Groups, Gym, Sweetie, Theatre ........ dont fill up all the spaces.

And of course, I bumped into some of the people from the Croquet club at the thatre the other day and they have invited me back to play again.

So it looks as if it's going to be another interesting year. Fine by me. Keep 'em coming is what I say.
It's no wonder that when I am at home I spend most of the time collapsed in a chair reading, sewing or playing on the computer.

travel, holidays
