Yeah, so I'm brilliant today. I forgot my glasses at home. How did I manage to get myself to work today? I'm wearing my prescription sunglasses, which I love. I had to fix them this morning due to a loose screw which caused one of the lenses to fall out. I then slipped them on my face and walked out the door. Tomorrow night is Girls' Night In! This is the second girls only gathering our local group has held. We enjoyed the first so much that we're attempting to do it monthly. As predicted the weather over the weekend was COLD! I spent much of it in bed under layers of blankets, wearing flannel pajamas and thick socks - mmm sexy. A few months ago I took my vacuum cleaner in to get serviced, to the tune of over seventy dollars. Yikes! It was money well spent however as fluffy dust bunnies and hair were slowly taking over the house no matter how often it was vacuumed. The freshly serviced vacuum looked and functioned like new and the dust and hair disappeared without effort. ( Read more... )

My co-worker has had a prettily wrapped Christmas present of truffles sitting on her desk all week. Someone asked her why she hasn't opened it yet, and I said it was because she didn't want to eat it (she's often lamenting about food). The other night I watched The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines with Noah Wyle.
