Tomorrow night is Girls' Night In! This is the second girls only gathering our local group has held. We enjoyed the first so much that we're attempting to do it monthly. This time we've added the theme of a tea party. The host recently went to Ireland and has fallen in love with scones and clotted cream and she's going to serve them to us. I'm making some yummy sounding chocolate and cheese dessert. I just finished researching some alcoholic tea recipes and was surprised to find quite a few. compass_rose will be particularly interested in the Voodoo Tea. I also had to share the Boys Are Stupid recipe.
Voodoo Tea recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 shot white rum
1/2 shot Blue Curacao liqueur
tea
PREPARATION:
Pour rum and curacao into a highball glass. Fill with sweetened tea until black, and serve.
Boys are Stupid recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz Bacardi 151 rum
2 oz Smirnoff vodka
2 oz Bailey's Irish cream
2 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
PREPARATION:
Pour all ingredients in equal parts into a margarita glass. Serve unstirred.
