PTSD much?

Just had a fairly long conversation with my partner from the call I posted about before. Somewhat awkward, my partner and I are not close but we are similar in our natures. Some people call us heroes but we would never call ourselves that. I was at work and my co-worker was watching a TV show about some people in the world of emergency response. We don't have TV at the homestead and I don't watch TV much at work so I am a little out of the modern culture loop but this show took me by surprise ( Read more... ) -

End of your shift
On Wednesday we will saying goodbye to another of my colleagues. Firefighter Engineer Pask passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday night. Pask and I worked together at MBFD for about 5 years and while we were not close we shared duties and tasks as some of the only driver/operators in the reserve compliment.
