 I had my first ukulele lesson on Monday. I am already in love with it as an instrument. I want to avoid any sort of luau-type music though. I moved into my own place. Yay! I am renting a room in Ravenna in an adorable house with weird-shaped cupboards; a hammock from Nicaragua; and two awesome roommates (Mark and Mandy).  Ohhhhhhhhhh my god. Oh my god. I got a job!!!! At Half Price Books. Yay. They offer free healthcare like Canada (What Whaaaaaaaat?!!!!). 50% off of books. Fucking bonuses every three months. I guess that means I'm staying here for awhile longer.

So, I just wrote some intense e-mails. I feel better though. Honestly, even if their reactions are negative, I feel good just that I communicated what I wanted. I had a crazy weekend. But the craziest thing happened yesterday morning.
I entered this writing contest for hint fiction. It's a variation of flash fiction (stories that are 1,000 words or less). Hint fiction is 25 words or less. It was started more or less by Hemingway. He wrote a 6 word story:
