Also, I made it through my midterm for the EMT-B class with a 90%. Now I have 88.2% overall for the entire class. If I am correct it is the second highest grade in the class.

As I mentioned before, last night from 4pm - midnight was my first night of clinicals. It was interesting. I met a lot of great guys on the blue shift and they really did make me feel right at home. Last night in school we went over the chapter on how to handle respiratory emergencies. Also, as ironic as it might be, one of the students in the class had a respiratory emergency. We got to see first hand what you are supposed to do in order to handle a respiratory emergency...well most of us did.

I just took an on line practice test over chapter 4. I only got 70%. Normally I would be worried and/or angry over such a low grade, but the lecture/lesson over chapter 4 isn't until tomorrow and the test isn't until Monday. I think I have a decent head start for the lesson ( Read more... )

Class was interesting last night. It was over lifting, moving, & Transporting. Basically we got to play with the stretchers and load one another into the Ambulance. No one believed me when I said I weighted over 200 pounds...a few of them did after they picked me up and loaded me into the rig ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a nice day. It started off by my getting to sleep in until about 6:30am. I know, 6:30 is not what you would call sleeping in, but remember my weekend day starts at 5:30am because of work. The reason I was able to sleep in was because of school.
