New experiences abound [NVC Day 3 - Quarters on the planet] [Open]
Having arrived there, adjusted, spent a day or so there, De could almost say that he felt absolutely comfortable. Which was something, at least. De hadn't really ventured to many places on board ship, certainly not by himself, at any rate. De hadn't rushed down to Botany as soon as he had received his present , but he had wanted to, rather a lot. He'd stayed away, for a couple of days, reading whatever he could find on the computers about taking care of roses, and generally refreshing his memory. You may have noticed that I love DeForest Kelley. A lot of my love has grown out of playing him as a character, and subsequently discovering a lot more about the amazing, kind and considerate man that he was.
