As I write this I sit in the basement of my friend's home, which has become my new residence, while watching a rerun of Conan's first week on the Tonight Show. Yay!
I ran 4.5 miles in 30 minutes today. Woot! I may have squeed if I wasn't about to die. Next goal: 5 miles in 30 minutes. I think this one will be a while, my guess is 1 to 2 full months from today. I'm getting my speed back when I run so hopefully *fingers crossed* I'll get the endurance necessary to hit 5 miles. -
Last night...
I managed to run 4.39 miles in 30 minutes on the elliptical machine at the gym. This was awesome and I felt really good afterward. It helped to just zone out while running and kind of sort some things out that have been going through my head lately. I ran 4.14 miles in 30 minutes at the gym today. New personal best. Now I feel like I'm going to die. Combined with increasing the weight I'm squatting to 325 lbs yesterday and my leg extensions to 180 lbs today I am feeling quite strong right now. It also helped to re-focus myself and I am sure I'll be able to sleep tonight now.

I need to get the fuck out of here. Like, now. Going nuts. I need to escape, find a place where I don't have to tread lightly. I've been looking back at my LJ archives and I can see how I've grown quite a bit. Even though that is the case there are still things that haven't changed for me, which I don't consider a bad thing. I was looking through my LJ archive, when I really should be in bed, and I found a rather interesting post from almost 3 years ago.
