The more things change the more they stay the same

I've been looking back at my LJ archives and I can see how I've grown quite a bit.  Even though that is the case there are still things that haven't changed for me, which I don't consider a bad thing.  Case in point, the link I've included in this post.  I saw some parallels between this and what I wrote last night when I was grieving.  The feelings in this piece definitely haven't changed, some of the circumstances are different but the important bits are still in tact.  This is a good thing I think though I might not be the best judge of things.
