Today is the BIG DAY and although I don't have time today for a lengthy post, I'm sure there will be LOTS to say once its all said and done.

I think I'm just trying to get the nervous bugs out. of my system. I am super excited to teach this Diction class...but one thing I must remember is to SLOW DOWN, take time to think, take pauses. There's no rush, I have a whole hour to go over the syllabus and give the students a flavor of the class.

I've decided to keep the wedding reception seating up for grabs. Except for the bridal party, I'm not designating assigned seats. I just don't see the need as people can sit with whomever they want this way.

Plus I'll be able to save money and time this way. :)

I am addicted to the Next Food network star. This particular season hasn't been all that great (way too much drama, but that's what you get with reality shows) but interestingly Hulu has posted all of season 2 back when Guy Fieri was a contestant. In addition to being on a tight budget for the wedding, Josh and I have been on a tight budget regarding groceries for pretty much the whole summer. This means not eating out as much as we'd like. I don't mind so much because I LOVE cooking. In the past though I didn't give much thought to how many calories the food was or how fattening it was. ( Read more... )

Josh and I have been going to these pre-marital counseling sessions with his pastor and they have been very informative and helpful.
