Continuing on the subject of food....
I am addicted to the Next Food network star. This particular season hasn't been all that great (way too much drama, but that's what you get with reality shows) but interestingly Hulu has posted all of season 2 back when Guy Fieri was a contestant. I only just started watching the Next Food network star last year so I never saw, much less knew, Guy Fieri's humble beginnings. So I've been watching season 2 and there's like no comparison that Guy was going to be a force-to-be reckoned with for the whole competition. The older seasons have like next to NOTHING in drama and its a lot more informative. I think the older season really prepared them to "work" on the Food network instead of giving them these insane challenges that don't really help them when it comes to their camera challenges.
For those of you who have watched the show I really hope Vic Vegas wins. But these last two episodes have been spotty for him so we'll see if he sticks around.
In wedding planning news we got our marriage license today and it costs a whopping $6.00! Apparently our Pre-Cana conference we attended back in April gave us a major discount! Getting this just reminds me how close the wedding is and how much OTHER stuff (non-wedding related) I have to get done before getting to California. Must finish all my teaching syllabi, do character research for my debut role in California, go through the endless sea of audition applications and decide which ones I can afford this year, and still finish my cool favor gifts. Feeling a bit overwhelmed but I know I'll get it done!
