Another couple of years passed and yes, it is sadly to announce that our oldest cat Skrappe has finally passed away, just one month shy of turning 19.
Though with the state he was in these past couple of months, he certainly didn't need to reach that milestone. His body slowly started to shut down and he struggled against it, delaying the ( Read more... ) -

Almost two years later and here I am.
Enjoying life in my own house and dealing with work with its ups and downs. A lot has happened but that's for another entry.

Me: *stands in the middle of the room, feeling very sleepy and dizzy*
Me: "Hm, wonder if my pulse has gone up"
Me: *checks activity-watch*
Me: *has a pulse on 42*
Me: "Woah, okay, that's actually pretty low. I'm shocked"
Me: *pulse suddenly rises. To 48*

Just as I was recovering I one day had a coughing fit so bad that I threw up several times AND I pulled a muscle in my back so I could barely stand to cough, let alone breathe. Took a week to recover mostly from that too ( Read more... ) -

Turns out I DID have pneumonia but I braved through it without antibiotics. This past week I've been pretty much over the infection but still been coughing a lot since the sad remains still have to get out of my lungs. But I did manage to keep up with work - I only did get a half sick day last Friday where they sent me home because it was obvious I ( Read more... ) -

I've been so horribly sick this past week, something akin to pneumonia but it's probably a virus. My lungs have been gargling whenever I breathed and I've had a fever and felt unreasonably cold. We're talking turning up the radiator to full power, dressed myself in layers of clothes and placed myself near the radiator and still shake from the cold ( Read more... ) -
