I've been so horribly sick this past week, something akin to pneumonia but it's probably a virus. My lungs have been gargling whenever I breathed and I've had a fever and felt unreasonably cold. We're talking turning up the radiator to full power, dressed myself in layers of clothes and placed myself near the radiator and still shake from the cold. My skin has been so sensitive to the cold that anything touching it caused pain.
I still cough like mad but it's become a dry cough mostly. Ugh.
Despite all this, I still went to my appointment yesterday to check out the house I've been so interested in. And while I'm still really in love with it, it didn't feel like "home". The basement which has been adjusted to fit the bedrooms down there along with the bathroom felt really claustrophobic. I just didn't like the thought of ever sleeping there. The stairs were very steep and I could tell I'd hate them after a couple of times.
The real estate agent also informed me that the current price will most likely not be lowered further which is good to know. I can safely cross this off my list.
I also ditched the bunglow-style house again because it would've been too much work. If the price drops considerably, however, I'll consider it again.
I've set my eyes on another one but the required reports that has to be made before a purchase can even happen haven't been done. Which is weird to me, how can anyone be interested in a house they don't know which state it's in? Well, me, obviously, but they have to be made regardless so why hold off? After snooping around a bit it seems the person who owns the house apparently hasn't even paid off on the mortgage at all in the whole time they've lived there. Which could indicate something bad and I'll have to assume nothing has even been done to that house in all the years the person's lived there. Which is only about six-seven years, but still.
I'll request an appointment to check out that house eventually. Right now I need to recover from my sickness, I feel like choking. At least all the coughing must've given me one hell of a sixpack, fuck yeah.
(I wanna cry, though, I beat my personal record on running on the treadmill a week and a half ago. 13.2 km in an hour ;___; Now I have to start all over, my muscles disappear for each day from just sitting and lying down while suffering)
