1. I should never walk on our treadmill in bare feet, especially for 30 minutes. I wear socks around the house and shoes outside. My feet are not tough enough for the textured belt on the treadmill. I will be walking gingerly today.

I took my each of my dogs for a walk this morning. I haven't walked them or myself in a long time. It was actually more of a drag and sniff. I had to research both of them "If you pull we don't go." Last Monday the temperature a 7:00 am was below 70° so I decided to go for a walk. I put on a t-shirt, shorts and my walking shoes and headed down the walking path to go once around the track and come back. I've been in a funk lately. I need to avoid surfing social media for a while. I want to focus my time on catching up on my house and yard work, improving my health, and maybe reading some books.
  

In Costco I saw a dad tossing his little (2 year old?) girl into the box of super soft body pillow and she was giggling gleefully. He looked a little guilty when he saw me walk by. I told him "That looks like fun!" I love seeing parents laughing with their kids ( Read more... )

Update for previous post: I have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and the doctor has prescribed a CPAP (Continuous positive airway pressure) machine. Chalain and I will be able to both sound like Darth Vader when we sleep.
