Observations
In Costco I saw a dad tossing his little (2 year old?) girl into the box of super soft body pillow and she was giggling gleefully. He looked a little guilty when he saw me walk by. I told him "That looks like fun!" I love seeing parents laughing with their kids.
My cat only seem to want to sit in my lap when I have my iPad in it.
Our dog Noni likes to please us and she's extra happy when she also gets a treat. Our dog Bella doesn't mind pleasing us but she really wants the treat.
An employee in PetSmart was reluctant to recommend one set of pet stairs over another to a shopper. She seemed appreciative when I asked what kind of dog she had, looked at the selection of stairs with her and then gave my suggestion. I thought it strange he didn't do something similar.
I'd rather shovel snow to get my exercise than walk on the treadmill even though I don't like being out in the cold.
Having a cat curled up in my lap or a dog snuggled up against my leg makes me feel loved even though they are probably just using me as a warm pillow.
