Project - Knife Rack
I've been working off an on on a Knife rack to hang to the right of my sink. I spent forever on design and a plan to mount it (I wanted to avoid screwing into the cabinetry). Update
WorkStill working at OCHIN, a non-profit that configure/creates/sells EMR software to smaller organizations (primarily safety-net clinics). The work continues to be interesting. Not sure what else to say. It's interesting watching the office get bigger and more organized; it's very different than when I started ( Read more... ) -

Bike fixes
In the last couple of weeks, I've done some highly productive work on my bike (yay!)- cut away some of my brake pad so my brake pad doesn't rub against my tire
- had my tire replaced (ok, so I didn't do this one)
- removed the creakiness from my bike by tightening the crank arm
- Installed fenders! (just in time for the rain to go away!)

Running
I don't post much, but work has a nice new exercise room. I've been running off and on for a little while now. Usually I just quick start and set some speeds as I see fit and run 1-2 miles. Today, I was poking around at other options, and started a5k.
I just finished a 30:08 (treadmill) 5k. woot! -
This week
This week, I have:- Visited my family
- Bought myself a new camera
- Gotten sick
- Changed three time zones
- Gone to choir rehearsal (but didn't sing, I was sick)
- Finished a must-finish project for work before my two week vacation
- Planned for my two week vacation for Hawaii
- Prepared my coworkers for my two week absence

Car
We now have another car. I must admit, it seems weird having done less research on a car than I do on a lot of much cheaper goods.
I'm looking forward to having a chance to drive it!
