Update on my father
Yesterday, at 12:51pm CDT at GV Sonny Montgomery Memorial VA Hospital, my father, friend and hero James Odel Nations passed away. He died of heart failure, a complication of a chronic lung disease "Asbestosis" he acquired from exposure to asbestos during his many years or service in the Navy ( Read more... ) -

Good Bye Doug
Well, he made it almost two months longer than the doctors ever expected him to. But, my friend Doug passed away a little before 2am this morning. He died at home under the care of hospice with his puppy Carter at his side, just like he wanted to.
