Back In Black's New York

Overall, this has been a good year for me. I am happier than I've been in awhile. I broke up with Ron early on and broke up with the Church in the spring. The latter was much more difficult, but mostly I am at peace with my decision.

You might not have known I was gone. I spent a long weekend in NYC at the invitation of a friend I've known online for years, and I finally got to meet him in person.

I had a great time, and there were a few surprises thrown in. I will write more, but I have to get some sleep. I have to work tomorrow.

A cheap exploitation of the widespread American prejudice that anyone who happens to be Muslim is as guilty as the terrorists who crashed two airplanes into the towers.

Why are we so sure the controversy surrounding the "ground zero mosque" is a political exploitation? No one seems to object to the strip club within two blocks of ground zero. ( Read more... )
