I am sad to report that Maxine, my ex-boyfriend's dog, passed away today. She was about 17 years old - a pretty long life for a medium-sized dog. He took her from a neglectful owner and won her heart. I know this was a hard day for Ron.

Overall, this has been a good year for me. I am happier than I've been in awhile. I broke up with Ron early on and broke up with the Church in the spring. The latter was much more difficult, but mostly I am at peace with my decision.
