Well Okay Then...
I wish my mom would get the hell off of my case sometimes. She kept grilling me and wouldn't lay off whenever I made the mistake of telling her I didn't apply for any jobs today, and that my neighbor emailed me a link that I will apply for tomorrow. Interview
My job interview this morning went really, really well! It's for a CSR position at a packaging company here in Hammond. And as it turns out, of all people, the man who interviewed me is someone who knew our family. How? Where Does It End?
The past few days I have been insanely busy doing the following:
Thursday: Spent the entire day applying for jobs online or faxing my resumes. Susan stopped by to visit! I was so happy to see her, since I hadn't before Hurricane Katrina hit.
Friday: Spent the first half of the day applying for jobs again.

I just dropped my laptop, and I ended up breaking the frame around it, the open/close sliding button, cracked the corner of the top surface, and the bottom part. I guess that's what I get when attempting to answer the phone, hang up my cell phone, and pick up my laptop at the same time. Oh, The Pain!
So this morning I had my second training session with Beth, and my legs are so sore it's not even funny. Ugh! She put me on the ellipticals for 15 minutes to warm up. I never really liked them to begin with, since they make my quads very sore within minutes. Afterwards, we did 2 sets of 15 upper body and leg workouts on machines and free weights ( Read more... ) -
That Was Weird!
I had one of the most unusual dreams last night that I remember vividly and can't quite seem to shake off. I was getting married in what was an arranged union. I didn't even know the guy at all and was scared to death. I went along with it for a little while until something clicked. Busy = Good? I Guess...
The past few weeks have been so unbelievably busy I can barely get a grip on anything. In between everything else that's keeping me busy, I have a pre-screening interview in Baton Rouge tomorrow morning... which I'm less than thrilled about.

Slow Down Already
Ugh, this week's been crazy. Between going to and from Baton Rouge to help Kim paint her room and getting ready for her to move on Saturday, I've hardly had any time for other stuff.
