It is surprising, really. You’ve always love December month, Christmas spirit.
You never had a cheerful family to celebrate Christmas with but you’ve always thought about Christmas like a happy moment, a moment of peace when everything is possible. And until today you’re pretty sure that some of the Christmas’ creatures have to be good. Sure you haven’t met them until now but why wouldn’t they be real?
For now you’re standing alone in that dark street where you have to wait for him. It is a cold night, a winter night. But you’re not cold, you always feel warm on Christmas. You’re listening to every sound, the whisper of the wind, the music vibe people are dancing and laughing to and you’re waiting to hear him.
You have been separated earlier while running after another not so nice Christmas spirit. But you’re not scared you know he’ll be back soon enough because it can’t happen something bad on Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve had always been you and him. You watch all those boys running after pretty girls in the street passing by and not even looking at you and you like how that special day makes all look like better. It would be only today, but it is worth it.
When you saw him approaching you his unique grin on the face you knew he did it. You haven’t doubt he would. And now nothing more will be important, where you’ll celebrate Christmas, with whom and what you’ll eat and drink because now you know where you gonna sleep tonight. In your brother’s warm and caring arms.
He has always slept with you for Christmas and you just couldn’t imagine being somewhere else for Christmas.
