Here you are standing in front of him.
He knows you’re here, looking at him carefully, but he just doesn’t care. He doesn’t care anymore or he wished he doesn’t. But you know it isn’t true. He is just lost, losing himself a little more day by day, glass by glass.
You’ve watched him every day waiting for him to pull himself together but he doesn’t want to, he thinks he doesn’t deserve to. He couldn’t be more wrong.
He is a hero he wants it or not. And the world needs him.
He taught you your lessons and you’re grateful. You haven’t been more aware of the world around you, about yourself, since the day your road crossed his.
The Green Arrow has to be back for the world, Oliver Queen has to raise again for his own good and Ollie has to be back…for you.
Looking at that fallen Angel your heart is aching. You just hope he’ll take the hand you’re offering him. He had to.
“I don’t want to listen to you” he grumbled even before you spoke. He knows you. He already knows what you’ll say to him, and knows everything you’ll say will be the truth. But he doesn’t understand why, not yet.
“Ollie we need you” you just whispered to his ear and he laughs at you.
“Come on, Clark! Nobody needs me, I’m anything but ordinary!”
You have to take that bottle from his hand because you don’t like to deal with a drunk Oliver Queen. And he couldn’t be more wrong.
“Ollie, you make all of us found a place we thought we’ll never had, you made us believe we can be better, useful, you made us save the world” tried he gently.
“Because you can, Clark, you are heroes” whispered Oliver back.
“We’d be nothing without you, Boss” smiled Clark gently stroking that spiked blond hair.
Oliver smirked not believing a word and trying to have his whiskey back.
“I think I’m trying to save the world for you, Ollie” you told him your fingers messing with his hair now, your hands keeping his face in front of yours, your cheeks blushing an hard deep red “you’ve keeping saving me from the very first day so let me save you”
And your lips were on his before he could answer, your tongue tasting him as you’ve dreamt to do for months now. When his hurtful moan filled your mouth you bite his lower lips drawing blood. You want so bad to taste the true Oliver Queen no some rich and velvet whiskey.
“You don’t taste like Oliver Queen should tastes” you growled.
“And you definitely don’t act like a Clark Kent should, Boyscout” he smiled at you.
This smile is all Ollie’s and you had to kiss that mouth of his again and again, hungry, to try and heal it. You’ll have Oliver Queen back, the Justice League leader will rejoin his peers and hopefully he would be drunk enough to not remember that kiss of yours…or perhaps he would.
When he sighed relieved in your neck, you wish he will.
