Filled with empty words
You know you did the good thing when you left him behind. They chose for you, he chose for you, you know that now and you won’t deny it. But he won’t make you what he wants you to be ever again. You won’t be like him. Even if you share the same blood, you aren’t brothers anymore. Never would be. You know what brotherhood truly is now, they showed you, he showed you.
You won’t kill him, it would kill you. And your brother would win. But you can’t let him have you back, as strong he is trying, as many sacrifices he is doing. You won’t. You can’t. When you look into his eyes the only thing you can see is desperation. You don’t want to see those blue eyes shamed by tears because of you.
Sometimes when your roads cross you see happiness in his honest and truthful eyes, you would like to be the one to make him smile like that but you can’t. You know you’re burning when he is near you, but he’ll burn if he followed you. The only think you can do is running away, chasing your destiny to kill it and you know you can’t share it with him. He is pure and still will be. You won’t tarnish him. You won’t poison that blood. You have to go away. To let him forget about you. You have to. But you know he won’t let you and you don’t know if it is making your crazy or if he is the only one who can still warm up your frozen heart. You’ll run away and he’ll chase after you.
You’ll do the only thing you can do to thank him for showing you the right way, showing you affection and love, run away from him. Give him a chance to be the man he deserves to be. This is the only gift you can offer. Not your poisonous love but his freedom.
