Can anyone recommend a dietician/nutritionist in Sydney (city) that will happily work with a vegetarian diet? I've looked through directories/white pages etc but would prefer personal experience of good or bad. My doctor will give me a referal to anyone if it's necessary.

vegan "chicken" (Nigari?) how to cook?
My lovely boyfriend recently went to "the big smoke" and brought me back some "vegetarian chicken" which, as far as I can tell, is just nigari tofu. Its a brand called "Unigreen food" and has chinese (?) writing on the pack with green and black and white plastic cover. I have never used this before and don't really know what to do with it. I don't usually shop in major supermarkets, so this might not actually be new, but it was new to me :P In Woolies today I found a Devondale Organic tasty cheese, that uses non-animal rennet (and actually says so on the package)! Your comments on puppy mills: please post!
This post is seeking condemnation of puppies for sale in pet shops. Please go ahead and comment. The comments so far are overwhelmingly in favour of banning animals for sale from pet stores, and our state (NSW) is currently exploring legislation to ban this practice.

For chrismas I wanted to make some sort of rocky road/marshmallow & chocolate snack, but would like to be able to eat it myself. Is there anywhere in Sydney (or online in Aus) that sells vegetarian marshmallows? If all else fails, I know crueltyfreeshop.com.au has ones you can make yourself, but I'd prefer pre-made ones to save time.

I don't tend to do the whole chrismas thing, giving of presents for the sake of it - I tend to do donations in peoples names etc ... but this year I want to start to educate my family by buying them gifts that they can USE and are charity/fair trade/cruelty free/vegan from AustraliaAny websites/stores (apart from oxfam) that anyone can suggest?
